What we do
- We provide 3 small supported housing projects. We have one project for young people who are leaving care and another project for people with mental heath problems. Our third project is for single women.
- The projects provide a small number of flats and a low level of support to go with them. The service is aimed people who are able to live independently but who need a period with some extra support.
- Most clients are ready to move on to independent housing after a year to eighteen months. The maximum length of stay at one of our projects is up to two years. The projects prioritise people who are homeless or at the risk of homelessness.
How to refer
- You can self refer to the project, or we will accept a referal from a worker, carer or advocate. We have a special form on which we collect initial information.
- If you are interested in our service the best first step is for you, your worker or carer to call the "Supported Projects Manager" on the above number. Tell them the kind of help you need and they will tell you more about the services we offer.
Cost
There are charges. Costs are covered by Housing Benefit if a client receives benefits.
