What we do
- This is a new way to learn for 16-19 year olds. If you need extra help learning, staff will work with you to find out how to best help.
- There are new computers and job training areas like hair and beauty salons, an office, kitchen and construction site.
- There is wheelchair access and you can get more help if you need it.
How to refer
- If you need help to decide on a course, phone our advice line. There are weekly meetings so you can talk to people about what you might want to do.
- If you know what you want to learn and you have the entry requirements for the course you can complete an application form from our web-site www.shootershill.ac.uk.
Cost
- No tuition fees for students under 19. Full time students 16-19 years old can get a weekly allowance of up to £30(Education maintenance allowance).
- Get in touch with Education Benefits at Riverside House on 020 8854 8888 for advice.
- If your parents/guardians are on a qualifying benefit then you can apply for free meals at Shooters Hill Campus up to the age of 19.
