What we do
- We offer housing related support service people who are vulnerable and aged 16+. We work with people who have accommodation of some kind but who are at risk of losing their homes and need support to sort out problems and difficulties.
- We also work with people who are moving to a new home and who need short term support to help them with moving home and to help them settle into their new accommodation.
How to refer
- You can self-refer. You can phone and speak with the duty officer who will ask you for some information and then make a decision in the team meeting about whether we can offer you support.
- If you have a care worker you can also ask them to complete a referal form on your behalf.
Cost
There are no charges for this service.
More info
Usually we work with people for a period of 3-6 months. We help people live independently, but only have a small amount of support time to give to each client each week. We are not always able to help everyone.
