What we do
- We run a direct payments scheme. You should be assessed by your care manager as needing care services.
- You may be able to receive a cash alternative to pay and arrange your own services.
- To be eligible you must be a disabled person; assessed as needing community care services, willing to receive a payment and able to manage payments on your own or with help.
How to refer
Ask your care manager about Direct Payments if you receive services. If you don't receive services ask for a "Community Care
Assesment".

Cost
Community Care Services are charged for following an individual financial assessment.
Direct Payments allow you to pay for your own services.

- Direct payment is not a benefit from the benefit agency. It does not affect any weekly benefit you get.
- If you have direct payments you have to spend it on getting the support you have been assessed as needing.
