What we do
- Greenwich Community College is committed to providing support to people with learning disabilities.
- People can attend courses for a couple of hours per week up to 3 - 4 days per week. Some young people with a learning difficulty come to college on a link course from school to begin with.
- Anyone 16 and over can apply and there are some courses for younger people too.
- We offer advice, extra learning support, extra classroom support, some limited transport possibilities and benefits and welfare advice. We will assist you to choose the right course for you.
How to refer
Phone our Advice and Guidance team on 020 8488 4862, make an appointment with a careers advisor or teacher or drop into a centre for a prospectus.
The college may ask for a reference.
Cost
Some people have to pay towards their courses; it depends on how many hours you're at college, if you are working towards a qualification, or if you or your family receives benefits.
