what we do

What we do

  • We work with adults with a learning disability aged between 18 and 65. The service users play a key role in the running of the centre.
  • We offer activities and run community groups.
  • We help our members to make choices to live more independent lives.
  • We support people to enrol on college courses to develop their individual skills and help them find a job.
  • People using the service must be able to use public transport and travel independently.

There is currently no charge for people using the Access service.

Lunches are not provided and the project does not provide assistance with the dispensing of medication. We are run by the mcch society which is a registered charity.
